Along with the typical windmills that populate almost the entire country, and the famous tulips, Holland enjoys incredible landscapes. To reward such beauty and in recognition of the conservation of the channels that touch the heart of the capital, the UNESCO designation will enable their protection and above all, promote more tourism if it is already important in this country.

Each year, from 8 to 12 August, the festival of Moors and Christians flooded the city of Elche, Alicante. These festivities recreate the storming of the city of Elche by Jaume I in 1265.
Every year, various troupes perform the parades of Moors and Christians entrance, spectacular displays of strength or fire with musketry and the representation of Moorish and Christian embassy. In addition also occur Moor’s baptism and an offering of flowers to the Virgen de la Asunción.
